Ingredients

  • 230g puff pastry

  • 120g cherry jam*

  • Black sesame seeds (optional)

  • Soy milk (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F );

  2. Unwrap the puff pastry;

  3. Cut it in 4 squares;

  4. Place a few table spoon of jam in the middle;

  5. Cut around 10 stripes on both sides,

  6. Cross them;

  7. Brush the pastry with soy milk and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top;

  8. Bake in the oven for around 20 mins.

Notes

* Any jam is fine as long as it’s high quality otherwise it’s going to become liquid while baking the brioches
